Luke Smallbone’s Early Life
Luke Smallbone, born in Sydney, Australia, on October 22, 1986, to Helen and David, a music promoter, relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, with his family in 1991. He also contributed backup vocals to her tracks while they were in high school.

He contributed as a producer, writer, and cinematographer to several music videos and short films.
Josh is the general manager of their brother’s band, For King & Country, while Daniel manages a light show. In contrast, Moriah Smallbone and Jacob Fink (also known as Cubbie Fink) had a brother-in-law named Luke.
Joel Smallbone is a singer and actor from Australia. He and his brother Luke Smallbone make up the Christian music duet for King & Country. In the 2016 movie Priceless, he portrayed James Stevens.

Career
After finishing high school, Luke Smallbone collaborated with his older brother Joel Smallbone to form a band. They began performing as the band Austoville in 2007. Their first EP, a Tale of Two Towns, was released in 2008. Later, they changed the name of their band to Joel & Luke. The EP contained six songs, including “Love’s to Blame,” a song they co-wrote with Rebecca.
The next year, Joel & Luke were acquired by The Warner Music Group. While recording their debut album, the duo once more changed their band’s name to For King & Country.
Then, on September 20, 2011, the duo released the song “Busted Heart (Hold On to Me)” on their For King & Country: EP.
On February 28, 2012, they released their debut album, Crave. The album’s peak position on iTunes’ Top Christian & Gospel Albums chart was No. 2 on the release day. However, Billboard’s Christian Albums list peaked at No. 4, reaching its highest position.
Run Wild, the group’s follow-up album, was made available on September 16, 2014. Live Free and Fall Hard in Love. The album won the “Grammy Award” for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2014.
After that, on October 23, 2015, For King & Country released a special anniversary edition of Run Wild. It includes the song “Priceless,” which was up for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song” at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in 2016.
Burn the Ships, their third album, was released on October 5, 2018. The album’s main single, Joy, was nominated and won the 2018 Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.”
In 2021, Luke will begin working on a few projects. Joel and Luke Smallbone will appear alongside Joel and Rebecca in the family comedies Unsung Hero and the feature documentary Return to Sydney: The For King & Country Journey, along with his mother Helen and the Smallbone family.
Luke Smallbone Wife and Children
On June 26, 2010, Luke Smallbone and Courtney Helm exchanged vows. Three sons and one daughter are the couple’s four offspring. In December 2012, they welcomed their first son, Jude James, and in December 2014, they welcomed their second son, Phoenix Alexander.
Also, the third kid of the marriage, Leo, was almost misplaced. Luke’s wife discovered Leo blue and gasping for air in his cot. She immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and prayed over their son.
Thankfully, Leo breathed normally again right away. In addition, the incident inspired Luke to create the song “Need You More.” Born in July 2017, Leo. The fourth child of Luke and his wife, Evie Joy, was born in January 2021.

Luke Smallbone’s Net Worth and Illness
According to several web sources, the well-known pop artist Luke Smallbone has an estimated net worth of $4.5 million.
Also, Luke Smallbone had surgery to treat a voice cord problem.

“Most problems seemed to disappear after voice rest and extensive therapy. But tragically, while creating new songs a few weeks ago, all of the worries and problems reappeared. We determined that surgery is the best way to get back to singing and performing at full strength, so I scheduled another appointment with my doctor.”
Although he was aware that there might be issues with the procedure, he appeared to be looking forward to it and certain that his faith in Jesus would see him through.
Joel, Luke’s brother, provided an update following the procedure and stated,
“I’m happy to report that the procedure went very well. Luke is happy and grateful to be home. I appreciate your prayers.”
